Thank you to all the participants of the 2008 St. Patrick’s Weekend Dublin to Cork cycle. The cycle was a great success. 17 cyclists made the tough 260km cycle and have so far raised over €12,000.....and the money is still flowing in. The cycle generated a lot of exposure along the way too. Red FM, a radio station in Cork, started a “spot the leprechaun” competition after seeing some of the cyclists dressed up in their bright green outfits! They also interviewed Kevin Murphy en route to Cork. The Cork Echo was also on hand to welcome the cyclists when they arrived onto St. Patrick’s Street in Cork city centre.
